  • Corporate | Organisational Membership

    Price on application.

    Are you from an organisation that would like to offer their staff and stakeholders access to wellbeing activities and benefits? You can offer your staff and stakeholders access to a peaceful, green, outdoor space through an annual BHCA Corporate Membership.

    A Corporate Membership gives access to the BHCA garden and an indoor eating area (the Kitchenette) in the House during opening hours, subject to availability. Refreshments can be purchased from the self-service kitchenette.

    Taking out a BHCA Membership supports the charity’s sustainability and can be enhanced further at no cost to the Member when agreeing to Gift Aid.

  • Organisational Away Days

    Price on application.

    Bedford House is the perfect setting for an Away Day. We can offer meeting spaces, rooms for activities, use of our garden and more. You can even add a private art, leisure or fitness workshop for your team, such as painting and drawing, Tai Chi, creative writing and more. See our course and workshop pages for more examples of the activities we offer.

  • Learning Spaces for Schools

    Price on application.

    The fee includes BHCA staff tutor and space such as BHCA hall, classroom, indoor eating area and garden. Access to the garden before and after for 1 hour.

    Your carers and school staff can participate subject to room space and your school’s instructions.

  • Private sessions for Schools

    Price on application.

    BHCA can offer Private Learning Sessions to schools for students in small groups. Children must be supervised at all times by their teachers and supporting adults.

    Subjects available include:

    • Performing Arts: Drama & Musicals

    • Discovering Science & Space

    • Tai Chi & Qi Gong

    • Ballet

    • Gardening

    • Art Appreciation & Hands on Art

    • Walks in the Forest

    • Crafting

    • Contemporary Dance

    • And more …

    Opportunities for intergenerational sessions may be available depending on the subject.

    Depending on the subject there may be a small additional cost for materials. The cost of materials to be discussed and mutually agreed in advance.

    The students will have access to the garden before and after the Learning Session. Your carers and school staff can participate subject to room space and your school’s instructions.

  • Art Exhibitions at BHCA

    Artists are invited to apply to exhibit at BHCA.. Typical exhibition duration 6-12 weeks.

    Artists may be asked to contribute financially to launch events if this is relevant.

  • Opportunities to perform at BHCA

    Are you a theatre company, musician, musical group, or performance artist?

    We can offer performance opportunities throughout the year in our Performing Arts programme. We are currently working on the 2024-25 programme.

    We have a Community Hall, good sized rooms in the House, and a large garden suitable for performance. We do not have a purpose-built performance space. You can find more details, such as measurements and photos of our spaces under Space Hire on our website.
