Salary: £24,000 per annum. 4 days per week

BHCA is a longstanding charity which has been delivering classes and workshops in arts, crafts, fitness and leisure activities to the local community for over 70 years.  We are now looking to recruit a Centre Manager to take charge of all the activities that run from Bedford House in Buckhurst Hill.

We are looking for an individual with relevant management experience who can work with staff and trustees to develop and expand the organisation further to meet local needs.

The person appointed will need to deal with both routine administrative tasks as well as strategic management activities.  Fund raising will be an important requirement to maintain and develop the organisation.  The Centre Manager will be responsible for all staff and premises. They will develop and maintain all key policies and ensure compliance with them and all legislative requirements.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual who will also be able to develop modern IT systems to allow the organisation to function efficiently and expand in the future.
