BHCA WORKING IN THE COMMUNITY
Since 2004, Year 6 children of Buckhurst Hill Community Primary School have had the opportunity to explore in depth the making of objects in clay. On Wednesday afternoons they come to our purpose-built pottery at Bedford House for a 90 minute session and investigate the techniques of coiling, slabbing and sculpting to create a different project each term. To celebrate their achievements, we display their work alongside all the other art and craft at our annual Summer Exhibition.
