|Margaret French||Wednesday afternoon||2.00 – 4.00|
Margaret French trained at the Royal School of Needlework in Knightsbridge from the age of 15. She completed a Youth Training Scheme followed by a two year apprenticeship and gained a First Class Certificate in All Types of Embroidery and a City & Guilds Part 1 in Embroidery.
She believes that all types of Embroidery are within any student’s reach, whether it be designed by
themselves or a kit which may have been a present. There are endless different needlecrafts that she enjoys teaching. She is more than happy to assist and advise on any work in progress, large or small, and on the purchase of any equipment or materials. The current class members have diverse interests which can bring a kaleidoscope of colour and texture to any home.
The present class are a very caring, warm, inviting group who love to share their work with group discussion. Most are working on one or more different projects which gives us a wonderful display at the annual exhibition.
Margaret looks forward to welcoming new members to this class to add variety and help keep our traditions alive. Please bring anything you are
currently doing or would like to do with the necessary tools (needles, scissors etc) and materials.
