General Information:

Please arrive by 9.50 as all walks will set off at 10am Tuesday or Thursday mornings and will last, on average 2 hours with some being a little shorter and some a little longer depending on location and weather conditions.

It is important that everyone has suitable footwear and takes responsibility for having appropriate clothing, water and any other personal requirements. The Forest floor contains many trip hazards and proper care needs to be taken.

The directions given for each walk are from Bancroft School on the A104. If you do not drive lifts can usually be arranged. Please let me know if you are not attending any particular week.

The walks will take place rain, snow or shine (unless dangerous).

Please make certain that I have your contact details for last minute changes as well as an emergency contact number.

The leader will normally be Robert Levene who can be contacted on his mobile,

Telephone Number: 07973 313 528 Home 01992 814949 (I leave home at 8.00am)

 email robertlevene@hotmail.com

If you cannot make a particular day, I am happy for you to swop so long as you let me know in advance, in case of changes to start points etc.

Any mistakes in the program are for the amusement of the reader, please do share them with me.

Please do not use Mobile phones during the walks (unless in an emergency) it disrupts the class and the distraction can be dangerous. Thank you

The main thing is to enjoy the fresh air, our wonderful local countryside & Forests and perhaps learn a little of its history and make up. Therefore requests & ideas are always welcome but not always achievable!

The autumn term is for 12 weeks cost £100.80 – If you have not already paid; please make your cheques payable to Buckhurst Hill Community Association (BHCA). Thank you
